"Low Port" Cylinder Head:

"High Port" Cylinder Head:

Low or high port refers to the positioning of the inlet ports.
A Low Port Cylinder Head has it's inlet and exhaust ports are very nearly positioned on the same center line.
A High Port Cylinder Head head has it's inlet port positioned higher up the head vertical face.
