The 2018 Civic adopts a newly developed, high rigidity platform with an inner skeleton and sufficient rigidity of the chassi itself. The SPOON STIFF PLATE further enhances the fastening strength of the chassi and the sub frame for a higher level of drivability performance.
By adding Rigid Collar in the fastening bolt hole of the sub frame with the SPOON STIFF PLATE, you can gain better feedback and controllability.
Raising the rigidity of the body doesnt necessarily mean itll make the ride more comfortable however, it will make the car-ride quality higher because the suspension can be optimized to its fullest potential.
Material used JSC 780 ultra-high tension, molded with 800 ton hydraulic press. SPOON spot-welded 3 plates and finished with cationic painting, which is the same color as factory OEM.
