For the do-it-yourself builders, this stand-alone kit provides our high-quality steel battery tray and top lid without any electronics installed. It's perfect if you prefer using your own battery isolator, want to handle the wiring yourself, or have custom needs beyond what our full-featured kit offers.

This DIY version includes all the hardware required to install the tray into your 2nd Gen Toyota Tacoma.

Included in the Box

• Steel Battery Tray
  CNC-laser cut and bent for a precise fit, then powder-coated for long-lasting durability.
• Steel Battery Lid
  A bare lid with no electronics or wiring. Includes multiple threaded studs for mounting your own components, plus grommets for routing your custom-made cables.
• Hardware
  All bolts, nuts, and installation hardware are included.

Battery Size Required

Matching Group 34 batteries are required. (Note: the Group 34R version has reversed terminals and is not compatible.) The factory battery does not fit this system.

Install Time

If you're handy with a wrench, most people complete installation in 23 hours using the step-by-step installation video. A 4x4 shop typically bills for around 2 hours on a stock vehicle.

You will need additional time to install and wire your custom electronics and accessories.
